Summer is in full swing, and the berry bushes are bursting with fresh fruit. Whether it's blueberries or huckleberries, there's nothing quite like picking berries on a warm day and turning them into something delicious. To celebrate the season, here’s a simple and delightful berry cobbler recipe that’s sure to be a hit. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/4 cups Quick Mix Baking Mix
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
3 cups fresh blueberries
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Steps:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour melted butter into an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Quick Mix Baking Mix, sugar, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg; pour over melted butter.
3. Sprinkle blueberries evenly over the batter. Bake for 42 to 47 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
