Ingredients
- 3 heads garlic, unpeeled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 green onion, chopped
- ½ tablespoon dill pickle salt (or to taste)
- ¾ tablespoon ground black pepper
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. Cut off the top 1/4 inch of each garlic head to expose the cloves. Brush with olive oil and wrap in aluminum foil.
3. Bake for about 1 hour, until the cloves are tender and browned. Let cool to room temperature.
4. Squeeze the garlic cloves into a bowl and mash. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, dill pickle salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours before serving to blend flavors.
